    El Campo, Texas, population 10,945, is situated about an hour west by southwest of Houston in the heart of the rice farming and duck hunting industry.
  • South Cooper YMCA -- Arlington, Texas
    The South Cooper YMCA designed by Fort Worth's Hahnfeld Hoffer Stanford Architects (www.hahnfeld.com) is complete with indoor pool and gymnasium among other facilities and was completed in August, 2003 at a cost of approximately $8.0 million.

    The two pools and related structures comprising the City Lake Aquatic Center were funded by local funds and constructed in an unusual method with four separate contracts for buildings and site, entry canopy, pool and equipment and water play for just over $1,400,000.

  • City of McKinney, Texas, Senior Center
    The City of McKinney, Texas, about 40 miles north of downtown Dallas had recently completed most of new center for senior citizens including service and meeting rooms and exercise facilities. What was missing was an indoor pool.

    This city of some 28,000 had been for years without a public pool and in 1995 decided to construct a new municipal pool that had to meet the needs of competitors and beginners alike.

    This city owned facility was designed by The Brannon Corporation to meet the needs of the 18,000 Mineral Wells residents and their county neighbors in the rocky hills west of Dallas-Fort Worth.
