Who We Are // Jade Engel Morris
Jade was born and raised here in Tyler, Texas. She left the warm, piney woods of East Texas to brave the cold at the Colorado School of Mines. While in college, she interned with Coors Brewing Company (somebody has to!) where she researched and worked with wetlands that were used as tertiary wastewater treatment systems. She was also very involved in student body government and an avid Mines sports fan. Jade graduated from Mines in 2005 with both her bachelors and masters degrees in Environmental Engineering, focusing on water/wastewater treatment and design.
After graduation, Jade returned to Tyler to be close to her family and was employed as an environmental engineer for Tyler Pipe Company. While working there, she was responsible for keeping the company’s water systems in compliance with EPA and TCEQ regulations.
Jade came to The Brannon Corporation in April 2008 and is working in the aquatics design group. She enjoys spending time with her family, hanging out with friends, playing sports (especially volleyball), and going to the lake.
