Jesse's career includes two separate tours of duty with The Brannon Corporation separated by a six year stint as the County Engineer in Hinds County, Mississippi.  In addition, he worked for ten years with the Mississippi Department of Transportation as a project engineer and head of the Environmental Section of the state office of MDOT.  He then worked with a developer as staff engineer before joining Brannon. He is registered as a professional engineer in Texas since 1984 and Mississippi since 1984.

Jesse is a 1965 graduate of the U. S. Military Academy at West Point and served a tour as an army reconnaissance aviator in Viet Nam.  He retired from the Mississippi Army National Guard at the rank of Brigadier General.

Jesse's particular engineering interests lie with public works including paving, drainage, water, sewer and water treatment design.  His projects include several funded with U. S. Department of Agriculture and Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs funding.  He works primarily with city clients statewide. Often that includes preparing permits for wetlands, wastewater discharges, and sludge handling.

Jesse's outside interests include his grand-daughter and woodworking.
